Intimate Elopement... Your Unforgettable
Day
What
could be more romantic than a loving couple stealing
away for an intimate wedding? You may exchange vows in
the cozy comfort of the Sanctuary Room or in the
beautiful, private gardens of our new Mary Street
location.
Our
basic Intimate Elopement includes a simple,
non-religious ceremony and your choice of contemporary
or traditional vows. You may choose to offer your own
vows. Deborah is happy to take pictures with your
camera to capture the happy event!
What
about witnesses?
You
may bring along two witnesses. If it is only the two
of you, we can arrange an additional witnesses for an
additional fee of $25 per witness.
The
Elopement ceremony is a meaningful and elegant fifteen
minute service, perfect for the couple who wants
something simple. Those who wish a more personalized
ceremony that includes special readings, additional
elements and up to 8 guests in attendance, will prefer
the Onsite Small Wedding option.
Cost
for the basic Elopement ceremony and onsite venue:

What
to Bring
An
Ontario wedding license. For information on where to
obtain one, please refer to
the
FAQ
page.
Please arrive five or ten minutes before your
appointed time. There is a space in the driveway for
your vehicle, so you do not have to worry about
parking, which can be challenging in the
summertime.
Please
note that this is our home, and while there is a
washroom available for your use, we do not have a
change room. We expect that couples will arrive
wedding-ready.
What
We Need Pre-Wedding

Options:
When
we receive your booking and payment, we send along the
ceremony via email. There you'll find several vow
options. Simply let us know which ones you prefer when
we finalize the ceremony
details.
Payment
Your
wedding must be prepaid (a $100 deposit is fine) and
prebooked.
We
can now take your VISA or Mastercard payment over
the phone, if you do not wish to use Paypal. Simply
call 905-468-9502 and speak with Bishop Deb. It will
appear on your credit card statement as "The Angel
Ladies."
Upon
the receipt of your credit card payment, email money
transfer or cheque, your requested date and time will
be confirmed via email. Payments are non-refundable.
The balance may be paid by phone or Paypal before the
ceremony or in cash the day of the wedding.
For
those paying by cheque, please call to express your
preference for date and time and provide an email
address. Send payments payable to "The Rt Reverend
Deborah Vaughan" to Box 1856, Niagara-on-the-Lake, On
L0S1J0
PLEASE NOTE:
If you have been divorced outside of Canada, there is
an important step before you are eligible for a
wedding license. Please visit the FAQ
page for
more information on this.
We
can recommend B&Bs, hotels, flower shops,
photographers and area restaurants to make your
occasion even more perfect. You may choose to have a
romantic horse and carriage ride at the conclusion of
your wedding -- they'll pick you up at the
door!
