A word about
options:
Many elements can be included to personalize your
ceremony and create beautiful touches.
The onsite Elopement
Package
has limited options. This is available to couples only
and their witnesses and is a simple ceremony. You may
choose between traditional and contemporary vows, and
also include a sand ceremony, offering a keepsake glass
container as a lasting momento of your wedding vows.
The cost of the Elopement Package is $150. There is an
extra $25 fee for each witness. The sand ceremony is an
additional $25.
An Onsite Renewal
of Vows Ceremony is $175 for just the couple and two
friends, or $225 for the couple and up to eight guests.
This includes Deborah's assistance in creating a
personalized ceremony and a certificate commemorating the
day.
The Small Onsite
Wedding Ceremony with guests offers you greater
customization of your ceremony. This is perfect for a
group of less than ten people who may not wish a larger
venue. There is the choice of the cozy Fireside or,
weather-permitting, the Promises Garden for your ceremony
location.
You
may include several elements, readings and even exchange
your own vows. Deborah works with you to help create the
ceremony of your dreams. At this point the couples are
responsible for bringing along the elements for the
Flower, Unity Candle and Love Letter
ceremonies.
The
cost of the Onsite Wedding is $225. We can provide
the elements for the sand ceremony for an additional
$25.
Offsite
Weddings
If
you are in need of a wedding officiant, Deborah is
delighted to travel to you. The ceremony is customized to
suit your individual faithstance and preferences. More
information and details can be found below. The cost of
offsite services begins at $250. Options are outlined in
the next section.
Securing
your date
Whether
planning a wedding ceremony or a renewal of your vows,
the season books up quickly, so it is very important
that you secure your time and date with Rev. Deb as
soon as you can.
Offsite
ceremonies
Deborah
travels all around the Niagara area and beyond to
officiate at weddings. Fees begin at $250, and that
includes travel (unless it is over 25kms away) and
consultations to personalize your ceremony. When you
book the wedding, you will be given a final cost for
her services. No surprises!
For example:
Officiating at a wedding in Niagara-on-the-Lake with two
or three planning meetings (in person, over the phone or
via email) costs $250 inclusive.
A wedding in
Toronto or other destination requiring more than an hour
travel time begins at $300 and includes travel to Toronto
on the day of the ceremony.
Rehearsals are
generally not necessary. By the time of the wedding,
choreography and details have been thoroughly discussed.
There is an additional fee of $100 for
rehearsals.
This applies
to offsite Renewal of Vows Ceremonies as well. A fee of
$250 includes personalized ceremony creation,
consultation, preparation, time to and from the venue and
time involved with the ceremony itself.

We make
every effort to work with couples to make their special
day as stress-free and as economically appropriate as
possible.
The
Process
To
secure the date and time of your ceremony a $100 deposit
is required. This is non-refundable, covering the time
for consultations and the preparation that goes into
making each ceremony unique.
We now accept
your VISA and Mastercard card over the phone at
905-468-9502. Further payment options are listed
below.
Bishop Deb
will discuss the total cost with you at the time you
book. There are no surprises.
Once your
payment is received, we send along the basic ceremony via
email which is the starting point of a ceremony that will
reflect the unique love that has brought you together.
Some couples desire a printed copy of the final ceremony
and we are happy to provide a keepsake copy. Other
elements such as readings, unity candle, flower ceremony,
sand ceremony can be added in.
This begins
the dialogue of creating a ceremony that perfectly
reflects your "voice", your spirituality or faithstance,
and even the kind of vows you wish to say.
This is the
hallmark of a service with Bishop Deborah -- we create
the ceremony that is uniquely yours! Many couples desire
to meet and that can be arranged. Others organize the
ceremony by email and telephone. It is up to
you!
After you
decide what you would like in your service, a
personalized ceremony is created and sent for your
approval and necessary revisions are made. At this point
the service is ready to go and one less thing for you to
worry about!
As the
ceremony gets closer, "touching base" emails are sent to
make sure that plans are coming together.
At the
ceremony the balance of the cost of Rev. Deb's honorarium
is paid. It may also be paid ahead of time online using
Paypal. We can also accept your VISA or Mastercard onsite
or over the phone.
What
you receive:
Upon receipt of your deposit or payment, a verification
of booking is sent to you which includes the time, date,
receipt of payment and balance. It also outlines Bishop
Deb's duties.
Some couples love their ceremony so much that they wish a
printed keepsake copy and we are happy to oblige them.
Just let us know and we'll have one ready.
You will receive a beautiful certificate from Holy Angels
Parish suitable for framing.
Consultation
Deborah
is happy to consult with couples sharing ideas, expertise
and advice about their ceremonies. There is a fee of $80
an hour for those who wish her assistance as consultant,
but do not wish to book her services.
